What is this disease on my Labrador Retriever?
My yellow lab is about 2months old. I have been feeding her dry dog food, but her ribs are still showing…..Why is that happening and is it contagious?
How many of her puppy vaccinations has she had? It is vital to get all three puppy vaccinations to protect her from all sorts of disease.
What kind of dry dog food are you feeding? My pup never liked dry dog food alone, so I would always mix it with some canned dog food or even mince meat- just make sure it’s mixed in really well. Though I must say that a Lab Retriever is not known for being fussy eaters- they usually eat anything put before them, so I am a bit concerned. I would definitely take her to the vet- at this young age, many disease can be fatal and nothing can beat a vet’s advice.
But if your pup is a fussy eater, you can considering cooking food for her- however at this stage, you should take her to a vet asap!
