Which dog breed would be best?
We had to put our family dog to sleep yesterday. She was a
golden retriever mix and was a huge part of our family. We are looking for dogs that are different from her, breed and color.
We are researching dogs and are interested in 4 dogs in particular:
-Chow Chow, Border Collie mix
-Shepherd mix
-Border Collie
-Shepherd, Labrador Retriever mix
Does anyone have experience with these breeds? Know of any health issues that are common? I heard the Border Collie was very hyper; is this along the lines of having a Jack Russel’s energy level?

We live across the street from the water. We are searching on petfinder.com and are planning on getting a puppy from a shelter.
