What things does your pet do that makes you laugh or smile?
We have a black flat-coated retriever & sometimes I’ll have a crappy day, but he’ll come bounding into the room & just ask for a little attn, even just scratching him just above his tail & he shows you unconditional love and acts like you are the most important person in the world. My sister’s white Standard Poodle had a unique way of excitedly greeting anyone who came in the door. She’d lower her head and make a half-sneezing, half-snorting noise, shaking her head as she came straight at you, wagging her docked tail so hard her butt swayed from side-to-side. At the same time, her lips were curled and her teeth were bared showing her long canines. New visitors would see this snorting, hunched over, “growling’ dog coming at them and they’d start to panic, which Lucy took for returned excitement, making her snort and convulse all the more. It was always a show watching new guests make her acquaintance.
