I don’t know what to think of this website. I’m concerned because these people breed Golden Retrievers x Poodles. I’m even more concerned that these people are friends, and am going to die at the fact fact, this breeder is also a vet.
They are supposedly breeding to fund for an event.
Puppies are approximately $1400. I just feel I must say something, but what?

Loki, I can see why you are concerned that your friends are selling their standard & mini Groodles {which sounds like an illness} for very inflated sums of money, to people who must have more money than sense.
The glorious red Groodle puppies sell at a premium?
As if $1,400 for a mutt was enough, they expect more for a *glorious* colour!!
The fact of the matter is your friend would not breed if there was not a demand & the purchasers are just as much at fault for supporting the Groodle breeder with their money.
A vet once told me that fact my male Dobermann who bred by a negligent breeder would probably be healthier than those “line bred ones” & that Poodle cross dog were healthier than purebreds! Not all vets are blessed with good sense & some like your friend are interested in charging as much as the market will bear for the pups.
Does the breeder take the pups back if at any time the owner cannot keep them? If not send information about the amount of dogs in rescue & possibly ask what is the functional purpose of crossing two purebred breeds/what role are they fulfiling a current purebred could not.
You may have to accept that nothing you will say will make a difference.
